The Intrigues of Eastport
This campaign centers on the town of Eastport. Eastport is ruled by the princes of House Volryn and a council on which six other powerful families are represented. These families are House Canray, House Uhur, House Gadren, House Hadren, House Vertley, and House Telmanier. Also of note in the politics of the city are the three criminal gangs, The Emerald Daggers, The Sea Snakes, and The White Rats.
The city is populated primarily by humans, who are generally somewhat suspicious of other races, and even humans from foreign lands. Elves are unheard of in Eastport, being heavily persecuted since the fall of the Great Elvish Empire. Dwarvish merchants exist, usually facilitating trade with the dwarves across the sea. Halflings are the most common non-human race in Eastport, as halflings love wandering and find their way into every society. Gnomes are unusual but not unheard of, and a few half-elves survive by pretending to be human.
There are three churches active in the city, these being The Church of Purifying Light, The Church of Earth’s Bounty, and The Church of Divine Mystery.
